Cirque Fitness Sales & Customer Service Position
Position at Aerial Arts & Circus Studio in Downtown Raleigh, NC
Position Overview:
As a Customer Service & Sales Representative in our aerial studio, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales, attract new customers, and maintain excellent customer relationships. You will play a vital role in promoting our studio, engaging with prospective clients, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Your enthusiasm for aerial and circus arts, combined with your exceptional sales skills, will contribute to the growth and success of our studio.
Our ideal candidate will be authentic, and enjoy creating a sense of friendship and community with our clients. Previous experience with boutique fitness, retention marketing, and mindbody registration software is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Acquisition:

Actively promote and sell fitness memberships, camps, class semester packages, and retail products to prospective customers.

Engage with potential clients, explain the benefits of our studio, and address any inquiries or concerns.
-
Utilize various sales techniques, such as tours, and consultations, to convert leads into customers.
-
Follow up with potential leads through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to encourage sales conversion via our MB sales pipelines.

Customer Relationship Management:
-
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and retention.
-
Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening, offering personalized recommendations, and addressing customer feedback or concerns.

Proactively engage with customers to promote additional services, classes, workshops, and events offered by the studio.
-
Maintain an up-to-date customer database and ensure accurate record-keeping of sales transactions and customer interactions.

Studio Promotion and Outreach:

Participate in marketing initiatives, events, and campaigns to raise awareness of the studio and attract new customers.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create sales materials, such as brochures, flyers, and digital content, to support sales efforts.

Attend community events, health fairs, and local networking opportunities to promote the studio and build relationships with potential clients.

Act as a brand ambassador for the studio, embodying its values, mission, and commitment to wellness.

Sales Reporting and Goal Achievement:

Track and report on sales metrics, including leads generated, conversion rates, and revenue generated.

Collaborate with the studio management and marketing team to set sales targets, monitor progress, and implement strategies to achieve sales goals.

Provide regular updates on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback to the management team.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Previous experience in sales, preferably in a fitness, wellness, or service-oriented industry.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and build relationships.

Passion for aerial, circus, wellness, and a healthy lifestyle, with a sound knowledge of principles and practices.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and achieving results.

Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.

Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other sales tools.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the studio's scheduling needs.

Workshift Availability Required
Weekday Evening shifts, Mon-Fri, starting at 4pm-9pm for part time, or 1pm-9pm for full time. Daylong weekend availability required, though not always necessary.

Head Camp Counselor - Full Time, Year Round
Salary Range: Varies, Negotiable
Location: Cirque de Vol, Raleigh, N.C.

Association Description:
​
Cirque de Vol is a circus and creative movement arts school with a dedicated array of youth programming. Youth programming has a focus on various circus and aerial arts, mindfulness, yoga, theatre, performing arts, and other creative explorations for youth. Programming implements aspects of mindfulness and conscious child development.
Requirements:
​

Candidates must be 18+ and have previous experience working with children (preferably in a camp or school setting).
-
Must be comfortable working with kids of various ages. (Our programs run age groups 5-7, 8+, Tween, and Teen)
-
Must be able to provide kind and competent customer service on the phone, via email, and face to face with parents.
-
Must be punctual, self-motivated, responsible, able to work a flexible schedule, and have reliable transportation.
-
Must be computer savvy and comfortable with learning student registration software programs for basic tasks such as sign-ins and student information look-up and organization. (Training provided)
-
Candidates will be energetic, mature, kind, responsible, punctual, mindful, safety-oriented, and bring positive energy into the studio.
Camp Counselor Duties:

Checking kids in and out for camp
-
Team Player: Coordinating and leading activities with other staff team members.
-
Supervising kids throughout the camp day activities.
-
Must be comfortable leading activities on your own, or as an assistant.

Leading full days of Camp and youth program activities according to the Cirque de Vol policies and guidelines
-
In charge of some office admin, on your off days from camp ~Customer Service, responding to parent phone calls and emails, assisting parents with registration and taking camp payments.

Daily Cleaning Duties and Equipment up-keep and organization.
-
Maintaining a safe and enriching environment for kids
-
Prior experience with circus, aerial arts or gymnastics preferred but not required
-
Prior experience leading and directing camps or classrooms required.
Youth Activities include: Partner Acro, Gymnastics, Mindfulness, Arts & Crafts, Aerial Arts, Miming, Theatre Games & Make-up, Costumes, Acting, Creative Storytelling, Stilt-walking, Hoop dance, Juggling, etc.
Previous experience in one or more of the above categories is preferred, but not necessarily required.
Required CPR/AED and First Aid Certification within 30 days of employment.
Camp days run 9am-4pm Monday-Friday
Early Care: 8am-9am
After Care: 4pm-5pm

Business Operations Manager
Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000 based on experience

Position Overview:

The business operations manager works across departments to align teams, set goals, execute initiatives and improve processes — helping the organization run efficiently and effectively. This position works closely and is responsible for the success of the marketing, sales, customer service, studio and back office management team.

In addition, you will handle:

Sales + Enrollment: Take the lead in guiding and empowering the Customer Service Team to maximize potential across the client journey. Your role involves critically assessing, refining, and enhancing the process from lead acquisition to client conversion, utilizing strategic customer support, nurturing, and targeted outreach. You will play a crucial role in achieving specific target numbers vital for reaching our quarterly sales goals. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Marketing team to coordinate on upcoming events and align on enrollment objectives

Scheduling studio classes and specialty events that are not only in demand, but are accessible and make our studio profitable. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing staff schedules, managing time off requests, and administering program budgets to optimize operational efficiency.

Recruitment, Hiring, Onboarding, Training, and provide HR: work with the owner/CEO to determine if or when there is a need for new recruits and be a part of the process in integrating them into the team.

Building positive rapport and relationships with students + among the staff teams. Promoting and supporting a healthy and thriving culture in the workplace.
You are a good fit for this position if you:

Minimum 3 years experience managing a team of 5 or more people

Enthusiastically sales-driven and experienced with hitting KPI goals and targets

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Adept at picking up new technologies and using them to inform decision-making (if you know Mindbody, that’s a plus!)

Experience working in Boutique Fitness Industry is a plus

Cirque de Vol is always on the lookout for talented professionals to teach in our youth and adult training programs. We want great people with strong technical skills, a passion for teaching, and comfort in working as part of a team.

An ability to teach children and adult recreational students. Master Coaches to teach aspiring professionals. Comfort working in a team dynamic. The ideal instructor is interested in regular teaching, but we may be able to accommodate candidates with performance demands.

Master Tissu/Aerial Silks Instructor

The successful candidate must have:
​
Substantial professional experience as a circus performer, and a serious all-around background in acrobatics/gymnastics.
​
A high technical level on tissu. Additional teaching skills are welcome.
An ability to conceive and build or supervise the building of ensemble and solo circus acts with children or adults, with recreational as well as professional students.
​
Aerial & Acrobatics Instructor
​
The successful candidate must have:
​
Serious all-around background in acrobatics/gymnastics and professional experience as a circus performer.
​
Good knowledge and/or understanding of acrobatic specialties specific to the circus, such as tumbling, hand-balancing, hand-to-hand (partner acrobatics), teeterboard, etc.
​
An ability to conceive and build or supervise the building of ensemble and solo circus acts with children or adults, with recreational as well as professional students.
​
Group Fitness Instructor
​
The successful candidate must have:
​
Previous experience as a group fitness instructor, or a background in circus or gymnastics/acrobatics training. Enthusiasm for teaching fitness classes, and a high-energy, charismatic teaching style. Ability to develop and implement a unique conditioning curriculum grounded in the circus or yogic arts.
