Do yo want to understand aerial on a deeper level?
Teacher training doesn’t just make you a teacher, it makes you a better aerialist. Understanding progressions, safety, and cueing will completely change how you train. Many students take this training to deepen their own practice, understand their body better, and gain confidence. Teaching afterwards is optional.
Join us for a transformative aerial silks teacher training workshop with Waverly Jones of Empyrean Arts! Whether you're a new instructor or looking to refine your teaching skills, this comprehensive training will provide you with the tools, techniques, and confidence to teach aerial silks safely and creatively.
This Aerial Teacher certification is an in-depth approach to learning how to teach aerial silks for beginner Level 1 and Level 2 instructors.
Training includes a 3-day teacher training intensive followed by a twenty six hour mentorship program required to complete certification.
Deposit: $500 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit required to reserve your spot.

Pre-requisites:
- Inverts from standing
- Figure 8 and Dancer’s Locks (“eggbeaters”)
- Basic (“French”) and Step (“Russian”) Climbs
- Rebecca Split Wrap

Please Note: Additional Mentorship program requirements for level one certification include an additional 26 hours of training done within 90 days of the intensive training. Cost is $234 due at completion. Mentorship program encouraged but not required for level 2 certification.

Pre-requisites:
Attendees should be at a level deemed “Intermediate” at their studio, and should have proficiency in the following skills on both sides of the body:
inverts from standing
Figure 8 and Dancer’s Locks (“eggbeaters”)
Basic (“French”) and Step (“Russian”) Climbs

Introduction to Aerial rigging
Because Level 1 & Level 2 are very entry-level friendly, coaches of all experience levels are welcome to attend, whether they have been teaching for 10 years or gearing up to teach soon. We provide lesson plans, spotting techniques, modifications, variations, and progressions that coaches of any level of experience benefit from.

Saturday, 3/21: 3:00 - 8:00 PM

Cirque de Vol Level One Certification requirements:
(completed within 90 days of intensive training required for certification).
Required for all Level one students wishing to receive a certificate of completion with Cirque de Vol.
6 hours observation of other certified teachers
8 hours teaching alone under direct supervision of a certified teacher
12 hours co-teaching alongside a certified teacher
