Flexibility w/Ulia
Sundays 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
– Students will learn safe, sustainable, and effective exercises to increase the body’s natural range of motion without compromising strength or function. Students will learn and participate in active stretching and strengthening techniques. We will work on bringing balance to the body by freeing up fascial and neuromuscular barriers, and we will build muscle strength for flexibility that can be used. This class is accessible to all desiring to increase safe ranges of motion in their body. We recommend this class if you’re looking to explore contortion and/or further your aerial practice.


About Ulia

After 5 years as a professional ballerina, Ulia lost her inspiration to continue her career. She went to a few Cirque de Soleil shows and decided that she’d found her path. She attended E’cole Nationale de Cirque in Montreal and studied dance trapeze and contortion. She’s also had the opportunity to learn lyra, juggling, Russian cradle, acro, acting, contortion, handstands and headstands. The people she’s met and trained with from all over the world have inspired her to learn, grow, have more discipline, and create original routines. Her life has opened in ways she never thought was possible. At E’cole Nationale de Cirque she started with Dance Trapeze. Starting with Circus straight out of high school in 2011, she’s been doing it ever since.
