Why You Rinse

What is this and why do I want to do it?

The hour long SoundRinse experience surrounds you with gentle, curated sounds from Himalayan and crystal signing bowls while you pray, meditate, rest, or dream upon comfortable mats and cushions.

Adults are under constant pressure to perform and endure new challenges, and we suffer from history’s highest level of anxiety; the need for focused, intentional emotional rest has never been greater. While a standard water rinse cleanses the skin and relaxes the bather, your SoundRinse cleanses (rinses) your emotions in an auditory, immersive environment. At once both unfamiliar and comforting, the specific frequencies produced by the singing bowls resonate with the natural frequencies of your body and all of its regions/meridians/chakras. The state of rest you can enter finally relieves your body from the constant stress it endures, giving it an opportunity to conduct the repairs upon itself that (consequently) enable you to perform at your best.

What should I expect at the workshop?

Plan to arrive 15 minutes early and well hydrated. Check in and find a comfortable space (we ensure social distancing for everyone’s safety). Arrange any props you may have brought to provide yourself a comfortable space to pray, meditate, or dream. Breathe, and enjoy the SoundRinse!

Sean’s Bio:

Why I Rinse

Throughout most of my personal and vocational life, words and sound have hurt, controlled, and induced stress. Although I cannot undo a difficult past, the exploration of restorative sound presents a beautiful sounding future.

The remarkable qualities of sound and vibration therapy became clear to me unexpectedly. I brought my son and daughter with me to receive a sound bath. My son is always very receptive to gentle experiences, but often suffers from cold-like signs and symptoms. That particular evening found his airway so congested that his breathing was noisy and labored; I was concerned for both his ability to safely enjoy the sound bath and for other guests that might have been disrupted by his noisome respirations.

However, 30 minutes into the soundbath my concerns shifted. My son’s breathing changed from raucous to inaudible! I got up to check on him and found him dreamily content and breathing soundlessly. Research informed me that the singing bowls frequencies had loosened the mucous in his airway and cleared up the poorly filtering lymph nodes. My son’s excellent health continued (uncharacteristically) for three more weeks.

This experience prompted my journey of discovery into sound and its restorative functions.
