Teen Aerial Silks

(Beginner and Intermediate Options Available)

This class covers all your aerial silk basics. Each student will learn climbs, inverts, locks, and slides on the aerial fabric. Students work in small groups and can practice new moves at their own pace. Class includes basic warm-up, conditioning (pull-ups, grip work and deep abdominal strengthening), and beginner moves, vocabulary and technique (climbs, splits, inverts, foot locks, ankle hangs, etc.).

This class is taught in a 6 week series!

Teen Beginner & Intermediate Aerial Silks in Downtown Raleigh NC

For ages 12-18

(No previous aerial experience required) This class covers all your aerial silk basics. Each student will learn climbs, inverts, locks, and slides on the aerial fabric. Students work in small groups and can practice new moves at their own pace. Class includes basic warm-up, conditioning (pull-ups, grip work and deep abdominal strengthening), and beginner moves, vocabulary and technique (climbs, splits, inverts, foot locks, ankle hangs, etc.)

Cost: $29 drop in, $157 for 6 week session

Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm Beginner Silks (No experience necessary)

Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm & Tuesdays 5:45-6:45 Intermediate Silks Ages 8-12 (younger teens are welcome to join this class)

Wednesdays 5:45-7:00 Adult Intermediate (older teens are welcome to join this class)

Missed series or semester classes may be made up in aerial boot camp or during open aerial gym (2 open gyms per 1 class missed). Make ups must be used during the current session as they do expire at the end of the series and will not roll over to the next one.

*Drop-in rate is $29. However please email cirquedevol@gmail.com to ensure class is not at capacity. Please note that drop-ins are typically not allowed after the first week of a series for beginner level students.

What to wear

Leggings or yoga pants that cover the back part of your knees. No bare legs please. A fitted t-shirt or singlet that will not ride up over your head when you invert is also a good choice. Please be sure to remove any rings, bangles, bracelets or dangly earrings before class. And don’t forget your reusable water bottle, this class will make you thirsty!
