Aerial Flexibility/Intro to Contortion
Mondays 5:45 – 6:45
Students will learn safe, sustainable, and effective exercises to increase the body’s natural range of motion without compromising strength or function. Students will learn and participate in active, passive, assisted, and partner stretching and strengthening techniques. We will work on bringing balance to the body by freeing up fascial and neuromuscular barriers, and we will build muscle strength for flexibility that can be used. This class is accessible to all desiring to increase safe ranges of motion in their body. We recommend this class if you’re looking to explore contortion and/or further your aerial practice.
