Acro Yoga with Aimee Kresica and J Alan
Acro yoga (also called partner acrobatics) is a co-created movement practice involving two or more people supporting each other through static poses and dynamic transitions. This class will focus on building fundamental skills essential to a safe and fun acro practice including consent, weight sharing, bone-stacking, finding balance, confident spotting, and communicating with your partner and training group. Students will have a chance to try all three roles of Base, Flyer, and Spotter. All levels and fitness abilities are welcome. Progressions will be offered and can be leveled up or down based on ability and experience.
The class will be followed by an Acro Jam starting at 7:45. Students who took the drop-in class gets to stay for the Jam for FREE!
