Aerial Fitness and Conditioning

Come join us for aerial fitness and conditioning class. This class utilizes a mix of aerial apparatus in a fun and focused fitness class.

No previous aerial experience required.

Beginner Aerial Hammock: Flips and Tricks

Recommended pre-requisite: One beginner aerial yoga class, but NOT required. Beginners welcome!

In Beginner Aerial Hammock: Flips and Tricks, your instructor will teach you some basic moves and fundamentals that will allow you to create beautiful movements using your Aerial Sling (Aerial Hammock). You will then take your basic moves, add on to them, and create adventurous and graceful poses and tricks that will have you hanging upside down or flipping in the air.

 

Aerial Flexibility / Intro to Contortion

Students will learn safe, sustainable, and effective exercises to increase the body’s natural range of motion without compromising strength or function. Students will learn and participate in active, passive, assisted, and partner stretching and strengthening techniques. We will work on bringing balance to the body by freeing up fascial and neuromuscular barriers, and we will build muscle strength for flexibility that can be used. This class is accessible to all desiring to increase safe ranges of motion in their body. We recommend this class if you’re looking to explore contortion and/or further your aerial practice.

 

Aerial Fusion X

Want to get Circus strong? Then Aerial Fusion X, a suspension training (TRX) inspired class is for you!!! We will alternate between strength training intervals, flow into deep stretches, and add in some fun flips and poses throughout. Bring your water bottle and get ready to sweat and get STRONG!!

 

Aerial Open Gym

Open gym time is the perfect playtime for working out and practicing all your favorite aerial moves and tricks on the silks, lyra and trapeze! We’ve also got space for you to work on ground tricks such as juggling, poi, acro, etc. Whether you are putting together a routine for your next performance, wanting a work out or just interested in some extra practice, open gym is the place to be!
